Anyone who leads people comes across it at some point in their career. But that doesn't make it any easier. You don't have to like all your employees and they don't have to like you. But you do have to demonstrate genuine respect. It's your job as a leader to figure out how to motivate and manage everyone on your team, regardless of your personal feelings. Seasoned managers know you can't just avoid your way out of the problem.
